Our hospital, has built on 30.000 m2 land at Karşıyaka, as thinking the opportunity of growing population, social and cultural seperation, easy arrival and parking. Our hospital have specialized medical staff serving every branches working with the latest medical techonology  at diagnosis and treatment, and our hospital has 6 floors with 22.000 m2 blocked land.

Kent Hospital’s construction standarts adaptaded to international standarts, as it was built according to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) construction standarts.

Kent Hospital  is organising with the standarts of  JCIA (Joint Commision of International Accrediation ) developing with the frame of JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organisations) which has a big esteem at the health sector.

For these reasons, at the preparation working we are having consultancy and education from Joint Commision.And also,all of our medical and support staff are being trained and guided by consultants from the Mayo Clinic.

State-of-the-art equipment is being used in all sections of our hospital to insure yhat safe and high-quality services are provided to our customers: high-resolution digital radiograhy, magnetic resonance, helical computerized tomograpy, digital fluoroscopy, mammography and colour doppler ultrasonography.

These non-invasive diagnostic images are provided for the doctors in a digital environment (PACS). Diagnostic images from the radiology, coronary angiography, nuclear medicine and bone densitometry will be archieved digitally and made available for use within the hospital, as well as to local and international medical practitioners in a fashion that maintains patient confidentiality

Our labaratory is certified for testing the latest biochemical, heamatological, microbiological and hormonal parameters.

The cardiology diagnostic unit is equipped with EKG, Holter,echocardiography,and stress EKG equipment. We are staffed and equipped to provide the following procedures: coronary angiography, angioplasty, stenting and pacemaker placement. Our state-of-the-art cardiology imaging unit is just steps away from the intensive care unti for quick Access and theraphy of critical patients.

The surgical suits are designed around a ‘double corridor’ system. The six operating rooms have positive pressure air systems with laminar flow and built in Hepa filtration. These safety features guarantee ‘clean room’ standarts for our staff and patients.

The two cardiovascular operating rooms which are 55 m2 and four general operating rooms which are 48 m2 are also suitable for minimally- invasive and microscopic procedures.

There are 30 beds at the intensive care units which have horizontal connection with the surgery suits. These units are equipped with the latest techonology. The patients at the intensive care units can be followed by their doctors by the hospital’s network system.

Because of restricted visitation in the recovery area, information is provided in the recovery area, information is provided by the surgeons to waiting family members by a video link. Prior to a minimally invasive or simple endescopic procedure, the pre-op check-up can be done in the comfort of the patient’s home if desired.

The labour and delivery suites are equipped with a jacuzzi bath for   the mother’s in a comfortable room. The specially furnished labour-delivery-recovery(LDR) rooms are provided for women desiring to girth their child in a comfortable room, but one which has Access to full medical care in case of an emergency. This means maximum comfort fort he mother and father during the labour and birth process, and maximum safety for the mother and child.

The newborn unit has six intensive care unit beds, and transpor incubators that insure safe and timely care  for babies and children of all ages.

In the patient’s room,there is nursing calling system which helps to contact directly with the nurses, central medical gas system, and micro-processed patient beds that can give the opportunity having every position by himself.

Patient comfort as well as patient safety is of utmost important to us at Kent Hospital. Satellite TV, free WiFi internet access and room service are available in all rooms and suites. Kent Hospital has 132 patient beds and 30 intensive care beds.
