Fluoridation
The tooth- decay preventive effects of fluoride varnishes were proven by the scientific studies. Applying fluoride varnish on teeth twice a year reduces the risk of decay at the ratio of 33% in milk teeth and 46% in adults.  Application of fluoride varnish is quite easy. After teeth are cleaned by your dentist with brush, fluoride varnish is applied with a brush. Then, the patient is requested not to eat and drink for at least half an hour. Only in individuals having serious allergic reaction story or asthma, fluoridation is not recommended.
